MANAGING DIRECTOR

Lee is responsible for shaping the company’s strategy, growth and vision, while overseeing the day-to-day running of the business and remaining hands-on with projects. Lee’s strong work ethic and passion for quality building services installations are reflected throughout the company. In his spare time, he enjoys watching Leicester City Football Club, fishing, and spending time with his family.

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Rob has over 40 years’ experience in the M&E industry, beginning his career as an approved electrician before moving into contracts and estimating roles. He oversees projects from pre-construction through to the end of the defects liability period. Rob takes a flexible yet methodical approach, maintaining close attention to detail at every stage. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching live sport, and the occasional clay pigeon shoot.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Jack began his career in Building Services as a pipe fitter’s mate, gaining experience across retail fit-out, high-end residential and education sectors. He joined WMBS in 2015 as a Mechanical Project Manager, delivering large distribution projects. In 2021, Jack progressed to Operations Manager and is now responsible for project processes, quality standards and resourcing. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, cooking and spending time with family.

MULTI-ROOM OPERATIONS MANAGER

Ben Hewitt has been a valued member of the WMBS team since 2016, bringing extensive experience in the delivery of multi-room residential developments and large-scale student projects. When he’s not overseeing works on site or tackling the stairs of one of our 25-storey developments, Ben enjoys spending quality time with his young family and taking to the golf course whenever the opportunity arises.

ESTIMATING MANAGER

Joel joined WMBS in 2018 and has over 20 years’ pre-construction experience, having completed an electrical engineering apprenticeship. He specialises in tendering and securing major bids, guiding projects from initial enquiry through to contract handover. Outside of work, he competes in national BMX racing, is a qualified British Cycling coach and has studied photography at degree level.

MECHANICAL DESIGN MANAGER

Josh joined WMBS in 2020 as Mechanical Design Engineer, Josh has a first class honours degree in Building Services Engineering. At WMBS Josh specialises in our industrial commercial design sector providing comprehensive design packages for the operations team. In his spare time Josh likes playing football, keeping fit and cycling.

ACCOUNTS

Gina has been at WMBS since 2006 and manages our accounts department and is responsible for incoming and outgoing transactions. In her spare time Gina likes riding horses and fine dining.

ACCOUNTS ADMIN

Hayley is our accounts assistant at WMBS, she has over 35 years of experience in accounting, 24 of these years being in the building services industry. In her spare time Hayley enjoys going to the theatre and knitting and many other crafting activities.

PROJECT ADMIN ASSISTANT

Michelle began her career with WMBS in 2005 and has been a valued member of the team ever since. She is responsible for producing O&M manuals, managing plant hire, carrying out general administrative duties and supporting the project team. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, listening to music, singing, and watching films and crime documentaries.

MECHANICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Harry joined WMBS in September 2022 after six years working as an HVAC engineer. He now plans and delivers mechanical projects, keeping things running smoothly from start to finish. Outside of work, Harry enjoys playing and watching football, spending time with his family, and the odd round of golf.

Tom joined WMBS in 2024 as a Mechanical Project Manager. He holds an HNC in Building Services Engineering and supports the delivery of mechanical projects. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and sports in general.

ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Dave joined WMBS in March 2025 as an Electrical Project Manager, bringing 38 years of industry experience. An Approved Electrician with SMSTS and CDM qualifications, he ensures the smooth delivery of electrical contracts across the business. Outside of work, he enjoys relaxing with a drink and unwinding after a busy schedule.

ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Dean brings over 21 years of electrical industry experience, progressing from electrician’s mate to Project Manager and QS. At WMBS, he oversees projects from planning to completion, ensuring compliance, quality and coordination while supporting engineers and apprentices. Outside work, he enjoys family time, is an Aston Villa season-ticket holder, and regularly runs marathons and is training for his first Ironman.

ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Steve has over 25 years of experience in the commercial, industrial and domestic electrical installation sector, including nine years running his own business. He is responsible for managing project teams, procurement, supply chain coordination and project finances. In his spare time, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and children, going to the gym, listening to music and working on his car.

MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

James joined WMBS in 2018 as a Mechanical Design Engineer and mainly covers our residential mechanical design, James brings with him a wealth of experience in thermal modelling and the build environment, studying both of these at University. James is an avid fan of Leicester City FC and motorbikes.

MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Marcus started his career in building services in the Royal Engineers where he was deployed on operational tours. Marcus joined WMBS in 2020 and is part of the design department. Marcus is responsible for putting together designs and coordinating with the CAD departments to provide comprehensive design packages for construction. In his spare time, Marcus enjoys playing the guitar, fitness and watching professional wrestling.

ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Helen has been with WMBS since 2022, working within the electrical design department. She produces electrical design and drawings using Revit and CAD. In her spare time, Helen enjoys baking, cake decorating, Tennis and spending time with family.

ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Ryan joined WMBS in 2025, bringing over 20 years of industry experience as a JIB Approved Registered Electrician. As a Electrical Design Engineer, he uses his technical background to deliver reliable and efficient project designs. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his son’s U9 football team, following live sport and is a dedicated Coventry City season-ticket holder.

CAD/REVIT OPERATOR

Julian has been with WMBS since 2016 and is part of our design team. Julian uses REVIT and CAD to produce construction drawings . Julian’s passion outside of work is watching Leicester City Football, Karate and countryside walking.

Carol joined WMBS in 2014 and has over 20 years’ experience in CAD and draughting . Carol is our go to for BIM and Revit within the business . In her spare time Carol enjoys walking, reading, travel and spending time with family.

SENIOR TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE

Ed is currently in the final year of his HNC Level 4 Building Services apprenticeship. As a Senior Technician Apprentice at WMBS, he supports the design of mechanical systems and assists engineers and supervisors with on-site tasks and auditing. In his free time, Ed enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and travelling.

MECHANICAL ESTIMATOR

With over 20 years’ experience in mechanical estimating, design and project management, and ONC and HNC qualifications in Building Services Design, Dave brings extensive industry knowledge to the team. He prepares cost estimates and produces designs to support tender and bid submissions. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, watching movies and walking his dog.

Jason joined WMBS in 2017 and has over 20 years of industry experience and covers all sectors within the mechanical estimating department. In his free time Jason enjoys playing golf.

Neil joined WMBS in 2012. He has over 25 years of experience in electrical engineering and started as an Electrician.

SUSTAINABILITY OFFICER

Kate joined the company in 2025, after completing her MSc in Low Carbon Architectural Engineering and BSc in Environmental Science. She supports the company’s transition to low carbon practices, helping to improve transparency and streamline environmental reporting. Outside of work, Kate enjoys hiking, pottery and baking.
