W M Building Services were appointed to carry out the design development and installation of the mechanical and plumbing services to the Wullcomb situated in the heart of Leicester City centre an 11 floor, 297 apartments residential scheme compromising of stylish studio, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.

Mechanical services installed and commissioned include, whole house mechanical heat recovery ventilation, singular hot water storage with the apartments, cold water storage tank with booster was provided for the boosted cold water which was distributed via the service risers and corridors. We provided a comprehensive public health installation and associated sanitaryware to bathrooms and ensuites.

Communal areas are serviced via mechanical heat recovery ventilation and VRV heating and cooling.

The apartments are metered individually utilizing a RF metering facility allowing the water meter to be read from outside the apartment without disturbing the resident.
