WM Building Services was incorporated in 2002 to provide a combined Mechanical and Electrical contracting service for the design and build market. The Director’s vision was to create new and unprecedented levels for service and quality. Quality that is remembered and recognised.

Since our inception there have been many changes within the construction industry, WMBS has continually pivoted to market demand and developed our skills and infrastructure to meet the demands of our varied client base.

Our vision and continued development have led us to become recognised as one of the market leaders in the industrial construction sector. As the industry progressed into 3D modelling, we made significant investment into an in-house team dedicated to BIM/Revit coordination, enabling us to remain flexible and dynamic when producing fully coordinated designs.

Highly efficient buildings have always been central to our design and installation philosophy. As industry expectations have evolved, we have further strengthened our approach to align with modern environmental and sustainability reporting requirements. We remain committed to supporting sustainable construction practices and helping our clients achieve their environmental objectives.

  • We have been fortunate to deliver projects for some of the biggest names in the industrial sector. Operating primarily on a design-and-build basis alongside major main contractors, we also have the capacity and expertise to undertake projects as a Principal Contractor.

    Over the years, we have built a strong reputation for delivering innovative, high-quality solutions and regularly support clients and main contractors during the pre-tender stage with practical advice on system design and buildability.

    Our experience includes working with well-known organisations such as Flogas UK, Morgan Advanced Ceramics, Cummins Generators, TEVA Pharmaceuticals, Volvo and GKN.

Working predominantly on Design & Build projects, we have developed extensive experience delivering efficient, practical and innovative building services solutions for some of the UK's leading occupiers and developers.

    Our expertise and early involvement in the design process enable us to provide valuable technical input and support from the outset of a project.

    Our experience includes projects for Amazon, JD Sports, Meggitt, Sports Direct, Matalan, Lidl, Jaguar Land Rover, Kuehne + Nagel, Homebase and John Lewis Partnership.

  • Alongside our work in the commercial sector, we have successfully delivered a range of public sector projects. These include new-build, refurbishment and upgrade works across a variety of facilities, demonstrating our ability to work within complex and operational environments.

    Our experience includes the Lincoln City & County Museum, Birmingham Crown Court, Royal Mail Sorting Halls in Warrington and Northampton, and upgrade works for both Royal Mail and Parcelforce.
